Former deputy governorship candidate of the A.D.P who defected to the All Progressive Congress before the gubernatorial election in Ekiti state today said his kind of politics has raised eyebrows in some quarters because of his factual nature and his inability to sacrifice the love for humanity on the alter of politics.
Afuye in a statement in Lagos made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti by his media assistant Oyebode Babajide said he is proud of some of the Ekiti politicians because in Ekiti state the typical Omoluabi tendency has reflected.
He said politics naturally should render humanitarian services to the people.
He particularly eulogized all the past and present administrations in Ekiti state for giving the best within their capacity to the state while urging citizens on their part to continue to pray, support, and perform their Civic responsibilities.
Comrade urged the Tinubu-led administration to declare a state of emergency in the economic and security sector and also urged citizens to be optimistic and keep their hopes alive as better days are ahead.
