EKITI: SUBEB Chairman constrain Indigenous Contractors Fund

Ekiti State SUBEB Chairman Prof. Femi Akinwumi withheld the just-released fund from the Accountant General of Ekiti state.
Today, the Ekiti SUBEB indigenous contractors voice out on lack of trust and self-centered attitude as one man board character of the chairman.
Sequel to the intended protest of the noble association, Ekiti Subeb indigenous contractors due to the over delay in payment of the contractors for the job finished off, this delay has caused the demise of some contractors, and some contractors are yet to be mobilized to date.

The Chairman has been running up and down to access another project and the 2021 project is yet to be completed.
Furthermore, the board’s chairman has been acting as a one-man show as a board member’s wish has been causing some retrogress, and misfortune to the development of Ekiti State.
Lastly, the federal government has released the counterpart fund but the chairman refuses to pay off the contractor for the year 2021 Project.
We hereby urge the Federal UBEC SUBEB and Executive Governor of the Ekiti State, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for quick action to the effect and to stand for the progress of our dear state by protecting the future of Ekiti State SUBEB indigenous Contractors.
Signed
Concerned Ekiti Indigenous Contractor.
