Traditional heads of Oke kere, Ikere Ekiti, headed by High Chief Sapetu Of Oke kere, Ikere Kingdom on Thursday organized a prayer session for the success of the People Democratic Party, ikere Constituency 1 candidate, Otunba Oyeniyi Michael Owoeye on his election bid as incoming Assembly to represent Ikere Constituency 1 in the 2023 election.
Addressing the traditional rulers, the PDP chairman in ikere Ekiti, Ekiti state, Hon Asebiomo Lawrence, Aka ASEBE, said he was proud and delighted to be of Oke Ikere Product
He said, “See my fathers and my traditional rulers coming together to show that particular passion for the support of our assembly candidate, coming together to pray for the success of the PDP in the coming elections.
“Honestly, I am delighted to be a part of this family, Oke Ikere, Ikere Ekiti.
“If one looks at the number of traditional rulers that gathered here to pray for the success of Hon. Oyeniyi Micheal Owoeye in the coming election, you will be assure that God has answer our prayers.
“When traditional rulers come together to offer prayer to God because they are next to God, according to our belief, you can rest assured that the prayer will be answered.”
Hon Olu Olaribiwa, Ex Local Government Secretary commended the Sapetu of Oke Ikere Kingdom for uniting all the traditional rulers of Oke Ikere land together for PDP, and thank High Chief Sapetu for his support for the progressives, Oyeniyi has rallied around all traditional rulers and ensured that they are all supporting him.
Lastly, the High Chiefs headed by The Sapetu Of Oke Ikere Kingdom Blessed the Candidate and Congratulate him in advance.
