The All Progressives Congress’ presidential screening committee has cleared 13, disqualified 10 aspirants from its primaries scheduled for next week.
Chairman of the Committee, John Oyegun led Presidential Screening Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has axed 10 of the 23 presidential aspirants of the party, Vanguard has learned.
Although it was not immediately possible to get the list of those affected the committee is currently at the National Secretariat of the party submitting its report to the Senator Abdullahi Adamu-led National Working Committee NWC
According to Mr Oyegun, only 13 out of the 23 aspirants screened were cleared by the committee.
However when asked about the identity of the disqualified aspirants, Mr Oyegun declined to disclose the names.
