2023 Presidency: Femi Adesina opens up about Buhari’s favourite candidate

Nigeria’s president, President Muhammadu Buhari has a preferred 2023 presidential Candidate, his media chief, Femi Adesina has revealed.

Appearing on Channels TV’s Politics on Friday, Adesina disclosed that the President has a ‘favorite’ candidate.

In his words; “In a previous interview when the president was asked whether he had a favorite candidate, he answered yes; but he will not mention him because mischief may happen to that person.”

“That shows you that the president himself is interested in the process and he has a preferred candidate; but whether he will impose his candidate is what you can no determine at the moment.”

Prominent among them are Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Minister for Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio, Minister for Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; Science, Technology and Innovation, Ogbonnaya Onu and Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba
