2023 Election : The best candidate I can support, Obasanjo Reveals

The former president of the country, President Olusegun Obasanjo, may consider a politician from the north as the incoming standard-bearer of the opposition party in the upcoming presidential elections that will take place in 2023.

Obasanjo was one of the most decorated politicians in Nigeria because of the positions that he has held in the past.

As someone who has served as the president of the country for a lot of years, he must have learnt a lot of things about governance and how to win elections in the country.

He can make use of his experience as a former leader of the country to adopt a candidate among those who have shown interest in becoming the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the incoming general election.

One of the politicians that Olusegun Obasanjo can adopt as his candidate in the year 2023 is the former Vice President of the country, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku served as the vice president of the country alongside Obasanjo himself at the beginning of the fourth republic which lasted from 1991 to 2007.

Atiku launches online TV as a new campaign strategy

The two prominent politicians ran the administration together then and they worked well together till the end of the administration.

That is not even the case. The case is the fact that Atiku Abubakar was the one that was chosen as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to face the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He faced the ruling party alongside Peter Obi from Anambra State.

Atiku Abubakar really tried to challenge the candidates of the ruling party but he was not able to defeat the ruling party in the first attempt.

Now that Atiku Abubakar is ready to continue from where he has stopped before, he must be learned a lot of things about the ruling party so what happened then would not happen again.

Obasanjo can accept and adopt Atiku Abubakar as the flag bearer of the party.
