Ekiti Can’t Do Well with Federal Allocation – Dr Oluyede, ADC Candidate

An Australian based medical expert and candidate of the Action Democratic Congress, Dr Oluwole Oluyede has advocated the need for government to create multiple ingenious means that will generate resources for the growth and development of the state order than the monthly Federal Allocation.

According to Oluyede, the current practice of outright dependence on the monthly allocation would only limit the growth of the state and make it subservient.

Oluyede spoke while featuring on a radio programme “The Bottomline” in a private station in Ekiti State.

He worried over the debt profile of the state in the last one decade a situation he blamed on the inability of successive governments to think outside the box and take advantage of various opportunities around the globe.

Dr Oluwole Oluyede, Former APC Governorship Aspirant in Ekiti State, commemorate with Muslims Over celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.

The Ikere born politician affirmed that many developing and developed countries in Europe do not have abundance of resources that God has blessed Ekiti with, saying the difference was because their leaders made good use of the available resources at their disposal.

Speaking on the June 18 election, Oluyede expressed confidence that his party will emerge victorious saying Ekiti people have decided to go a new way that would give them better opportunities.

He dispel that insinuation that he is planing to step down, saying he is in the game to win and nothing more
