The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, Otunba Bisi Kolawole, has reacted to all manners of negative write-ups being circulated on social media by those who do not wish PDP well.

Kolawole said that there was no rift between him and the former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose.

The former Party State chairman said Fayose remained his leader and benefactor.

He said the issue of Deputy Governorship Candidate, one out of the two persons nominated by Ayo Fayose, has emerged as the deputy governorship candidate and he will be unveiled officially in due course.

He further stated that the LG Coordinators are still with their vehicles, performing their functions in their various local councils while the campaign office has since been moved to Spotless, Ado Ekiti.

Fayose and Kolawole

“My attention has been drawn to all manners of negative write-ups being circulated by those who do not wish our party, PDP well.

“Let me state that there no rift between me and His Excellency, Governor Ayo Fayose. He remained my leader and benefactor.

“As per the issue of Deputy Governorship Candidate, one out of the two persons nominated by our leader, Ayo Fayose, has emerged as the deputy governorship candidate and he will be unveiled officially in due course.

“Our LG Coordinators are still with their vehicles, performing their functions in their various local councils while our campaign office has since been moved to Spotless, Ado Ekiti.

“To all PDP members and supporters in Ekiti State, kindly ignore all the lies from our detractors and let’s focus on delivering Ekiti State to our party come June 18.

“Once again, HE Ayo Fayose is our leader and benefactor, he must be held in the highest esteem by all of us”.

Thank you all.
