“If elected as the Governor of Ekiti State by God’s grace, I’ll also be concentrating on what the state is known for which is Education. I believe by now, Ekiti should have been made the centre of Education in Nigeria, such that people will not think that their education is complete until they have gotten a degree from a higher institution in Ekiti State.

The idea is to have more higher institutions in Ekiti State, not just higher institutions but quality ones that will make the state to be attractive to people for education.

“When they come to Ekiti for education, they bring the revenue and other resources which will improve the economy of the state.

Giving the reputation that the first generation of Ekiti people built in the area of education, we should have capitalised on that and by now, we should have been talking of Ekiti degree being valuable in Nigeria.”
