2023 Presidency: Nigeria will be Safe under Tinubu – APC Chieftain
Senator Abu Ibrahim, a former Senate deputy minority chief whip and an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, has expressed certainty that Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make Nigeria a safe country for all citizens.
Ibrahim, during the inauguration of Bola Tinubu Support Organisation (BTSO), in Abuja on Saturday, March 20, said that the APC national leader will achieve this if he is given the chance to become president, The Nation reports.
The APC chieftain said having studied Tinubu for over two decades, he knows him well enough as a leader who is capable of developing and mentoring younger Nigerians for prominent positions in the nation’s political space.
He asserted: “I know Asiwaju Tinubu very well. We have been friends for over 20 years. He is a focused and hard-working man.
He is a builder of unity, a pillar of Nigeria’s unity.
I think Nigeria will be safe in his hands.” Added to this, a former Secretary to Niger State Government (SSG), Professor Mohammed Kuta Yahaya, described the politician as a unique leader among his contemporaries.
“Is there a Nigerian in the political space or entrepreneurial space that has mentored emerging leaders like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu?
“Let us create a Bola Ahmed Tinubu in each of the six geo-political zones and you will see there will be no poverty and corruption in Nigeria.”
Meanwhile, Tinubu had been urged to join the race for the presidential election in the interest of the country and its democracy.
Youths under the aegis of Nigeria Youths Movement for Tinubu (NYMT), made the urgent appeal on Thursday, March 11.
