One of the foremost leader of People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ekiti State, Otunba Yinka Akerele popular known as “Ajinde-Ekiti” had commended the efforts of the PDP leaders in Ekiti State by coming together to put an end to the crisis ravaging the PDP Ekiti Chapter.
Otunba Yinka Akerele in a telephone interview with our correspondent lauded the welcome idea put in place by the former governor of Ekiti State, Chief Ayodele Fayose, Sen Biodun Olujimi, Sen Duro Faseyi and other leaders of the party both within and outside the state.
“It is high time we come together, to rescue our dear Ekiti people from the oppressors in government, the zeal of PDP is in the mind of every Ekiti people and all Nigerians at large.
Everyone is seeing Peoples’ Democratic Party as the only alternative to the present hardship we’re experiencing and we must not disappoint Ekiti people in the coming elections” he said.
Otunba Akerele, a major contender in the year 2022 Ekiti gubernatorial race, also Sympathizes with the people of “Isaba” in Ikole local government area over the loss of lives caused by “Bororo herdsmen” and urged Ekiti State government to apprehend the culprits.
He also urged Ekiti PDP members to stop throwing tantrum on each other as the reconciliation meetings continues.
