Lady Shows Nigerians Legal Way to Travel Abroad With Little Cash, Says They Don’t Need Millions

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to advise Nigerians intending to travel abroad that they can do it without having millions in their account.

The lady with the Twitter handle @Mochievous said she left Nigeria on her N100k salary as a lawyer in Lagos.

She wrote:

“I emigrated out of Nigeria on my N100k salary as a lawyer in Lagos. There are many ways to do it legally that do not require you having 10 million Naira.”

The young lady said she left using the student route and gave Nigerians tips on how to go about it.

According to her, prospective students should ask for an application fee waiver to all schools they are applying to.

She, however, asked them to prioritise schools that give generous scholarships to Africans.

@mariammomodu_ commented: “If you are 100% committed to using school / a funded scholarship as your launching pad, it’s absolutely possible.

I know too many people (not first class grads) who have gotten scholarships to top schools, but please be ready to work hard to submit an application that stands out!”

She added:

“You will suffer small sha o. But it gets better. Sorry I lied. You will suffer plenty.”

In other news, a Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @MRBRIKILA1 recounted how his life changed for better when he left the country for Canada.

The man said he wrote IELTS three times before he achieved the required score, adding that he sat and passed the nursing exam at the first sitting.

In his words: “Worked in a lot of hospitals and Nursing home…Bought my first house 3rd yr after got to Canada…..it was not easy for sure but the difference is clear clear…”
