Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot, who is also an APC representative in the Lagos state house of Assembly, denied Edo state Governor Godwin Obaseki’s statement that ” Edo will not be Lagos.
He said this during a recent interview in which he discussed pastor ize-Iyamu’s simple program.
Refuting this claim, the Nollywood actor said;
“Saying Edo state can never be Lagos State means that Edo state can never be as developed as Lagos State.
This is very detrimental to the state itself and it’s not right for a Governor to say that, because saying Edo state can never be as big and as popular as Lagos State means that he is trying to pull Edo backward.”
“Obaseki is a product of godfatherism and so I am, godfather in politics only teach you how to make people happy and rule peacefully with impact, so godfatherism will continue, ” He added.
