The chief whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu was in a private meeting with former head of state General Ibrahim Babangida, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, at their Minna residence, the capital of Niger State, Globalgistng reports.
Globalgistng reports that Kalu, a former Governor of Abia state, arrived in Minna on Monday to visit his political leaders. It was also reported that he arrived at the Abdulsalami residence in Minna, Niger state, around 3:30 p.m.
Senator Orji Kalu was immediately ushered into the ex-head of state’s residence where he was received by General Abdulsalami himself.

Our correspondent in the tour reports that Kalu and Abdulsalami later proceeded for an indoor meeting which lasted over an hour.
The Chief Whip of the Senate earlier today paid General Ibrahim Babangida a private visit after which he proceeded to Abdulsalami’s residence.
It was earlier reported that Kalu arrived the power state at exactly 2pm on Monday alongside political friends, associates and retinue of aides.
He is expected to also visit the homes of Governor of Niger state, Abubakar Sani Bello and Emir, Etsu of Lapai, Niger State during the stay in Minna, the Niger State capital.
