The tongue is a soft part of the mouth that can be moved and used for eating and speech. The word of God calls this a small part of the body that boasts of great things.
Therefore, it is the most powerful force that has the ability to create and destroy. It can also be used to curse people and praise God.
However, there are three certain things that your language can do to your life. It is necessary that all believers understand this so that they can use the language given to them well.
(1) The Direction Of Your Life
James 3: 6
The tongue is also fire, the world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole man, sets fire to the whole course of his life, and burns itself in hell.
Sincerely, your language has the ability to dictate the direction of your life. What you constantly say in jest or ignorance about your life; negatively or positively, has the ability to dictate the outcome of your life.
Many times we accuse satanic forces of interfering with us. But we refuse to tame our language so that it doesn’t speak evil. There are those who talk casually about their lives.
They will say that God should just take their lives, that they are tired of this world. Therefore, when such a person dies prematurely, we begin to blame the devil, forgetting that every word is a seed that will sprout and bear fruit.
The ships are controlled by small rudders, the horses by bits inserted in their mouths. So your life is governed by your language.

(2) It Defines Death And Life
Proverbs 18: 21
Language has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruits.
Longevity or untimely death is determined by how you use your language. If your language is used negatively, sudden death is not so far from such a person.
No matter how powerful you are, and no matter the prophecy that was said about your life. You must use your language positively.
Those who use their language positively, its fruits will Shine brightly in their lives. Even if what you are experiencing is unpleasant.
Don’t be tempted to curse yourself. Speak the word of God. Confess his word daily. Refuse to talk casually about your life, business, children, etc.
3) Recognition Determines Possession
Numbers 14: 28
Say to them: verily, as I live, saith the Lord, as you have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you.
Of the twelve spies sent to investigate the land of Canaan, only Joshua and Caleb were certain of their report. Other leaders were negative. They spoke casually and negatively penetrated the faith of the entire Israeli people.
Their confession was that they would not enter the country because its inhabitants were too powerful. And this was because they could not own land as a result of their confession. The confession defines possession.
You may not have anything good in life because of your false confession. Therefore, confess positively about your life.
