The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in forthcoming Governorship election in Edo state, pastor Osagie ize-Iyamu, on Wednesday, August 12, has bagged a chieftaincy title in Auchi land.
Globalgistng gathered that Ize-Iyamu was on Wednesday introduced as the” Itsemakhona ” of Auchi land by the First Class traditional ruler, Otaru of Auchi.

Itsemakhona is translated to mean “this is our own…” in the English language.
The APC and Ize-Iyamu had taken their campaigns to Edo North where Auchi is grouped under. Auchi is under Etsako West local government.
The Edo state Governorship election holds September 19, 2020. While Ize-Iyamu is the APC candidate, Governor Godwin Obaseki is the Peoples Democratic Party’ candidate.
Both the APC and PDP are the two major political parties in the election with Ize-Iyamu and Obaseki as major candidates in the poll.
