The famous prophet and founder of the Arugbo Ojo Royal prayer mountain, located in Odo-Owa kwara state, Bamigboye Ademola predicted that pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) will win the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo state.
The popular prophet, also known as Ogidan Jesu, unveiled the prophecy while speaking to the Daily Sun on Monday, August 3.
He said God has revealed to him that the incumbent governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Godwin Obaseki, will find it difficult to win the election.
According to him, “the election will be very bloody and there will be assassination attempts in both parties while money will play a prominent role in who will win the election.”
He continued: “God showed to me that there will be a serious crisis and some assassination attempts before the election proper and there will be serious monetary inducements to woo the voters.
“Governor Godwin Obaseki will be highly betrayed, most of the people he relies upon will leave him at the last minute.
Violence will match with violence and money for money but at the end, the APC will win the election.”
Recall that an official of the Obaseki/Shaibu Movement in Edo state, Patrick Iyoha, recently resigned his appointment from the campaign group.
Two other officials from the campaign group, Pastor Gabriel Oiboh and Osanyemwere Osawe also resigned.
While Iyoha is a board member of the Edo state waste management, Oiboh and Osawe both serve in the Edo state post primary education board.
Similarly, an erstwhile ally of Governor Obaseki, Prince Emmanuel Odigie, on Thursday, July 30 announced his resignation from the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Area Development Commission (EDOSOGPADEC) and his defection to the APC together with his supporters.
Odigie who hinted about his exit from the Edo state government recently declared his support for the APC and its candidate, Pastor Ize-Iyamu.
The special adviser to the Governor, Hon. bright Njor of Ugbeka Ward 03 also resigned. The Duo said they will now work tirelessly to ensure that APC and Ize-Iyamu appear as the state’s Governor in the resignation letters they sent.
