Jeff Bezos agrees with US authorities on Inspections

The Head of the American Corporation Amazon, Jeff Bezos, agreed that the US authorities should regularly conduct checks on his company.
This is reported in the Amazon blog, which published the text of Bezos’s speech, which he plans to deliver on July 29 in the Subcommittee on antitrust policy of the house of representatives legal Committee of the US Congress.
According to him, it is necessary to conduct thorough checks on all major institutions, including companies, departments and non-governmental organizations. At the same time, the entrepreneur noted that it is the duty of companies to show excellent results during inspections.
In addition, the text of Bezos ‘ speech focuses on the fact that Amazon has invested $270 billion in the US economy over the past decade.
The entrepreneur also stressed that Amazon accounts for less than 1% of the global retail market, which he estimates at $25 trillion, as well as less than 4% of retail in the United States.
Bezos also added that the world needs not only small companies, but also large ones. He noted that the company’s stores present products of 1.7 million small and medium-sized businesses.

According to Reuters, the powers in the proceedings will be divided between the us Federal trade Commission, which took over the supervision of Amazon and Facebook, and the justice Department, which will deal with Apple and Google.
At the same time, Democrats in the US house of representatives announced the beginning of their own investigation.
