The ability to hear directly from God is one of the greatest achievements of any Christian on earth. There are 3 types of voices that a Christian can hear:
Voice of the flesh (self)
Voice of the devil
voice of God
The goal is to know the voice of God perfectly, to recognize false voices, because the devil is a master imitator. God’s words always glorify him, make you love him even more. God’s words can never contradict the Bible. Whenever you hear a voice that contradicts the Word of God, know that it comes from the devil. Very common examples of devil voices are:
Go and commit fornication with this member of the Church for more anointing. My grace is enough for you.(This is against 1 Cor 6: 18)
Stop attending any Church, just worship me from your home (God can never tell you to stop attending Church services, but he can direct you to another Bible-believing Church that will properly care for you). This is against Heb 10: 25, ECC 4: 9-11, 1 Thess 5: 11.
How does God speak to us?
Visions and trances
In Acts 10: 8, God spoke to Peter in this way, and he still does today. The Devil has his own fake. He can also disguise himself as an angel of light (2 Cor 11:14). It mainly uses astral travel and out-of-body experiences. (Whenever you see a vision or supernatural encounter, beware of mentioning the name of Jesus if you can say his name three times and watch for reactions.)
This quiet little voice that speaks good to us and judges us is the voice of God. His laws are in the hearts of every man, but disobedience to the voice leads to a hardening of the heart, which rarely hears God. Proverbs 20: 27 says that the spirit of man is the lamp of God, searching his innermost heart (conscience).
Sometimes, during prayer, a thought that you haven’t thought about can enter her heart. This is one of the ways that God speaks to you. It can also put pressure on your heart to perform a good deed.
Others direct us to the Scriptures, to dreams, to their true messengers (prophets), through sermons, Christian meditation(Not yoga).
