US President Donald Trump’s inaction on the Coronavirus pandemic has created a crisis situation with the spread of the disease in the country, said the speaker of the house of representatives of the us Congress Nancy Pelosi.
Pelosi stressed that trump’s statements about the pandemic, as well as the fact that he began to put on a medical mask, show that the President has admitted his mistakes.
“He put on a mask and admitted that this is not a hoax, but a pandemic that will get worse before it gets better because of his inaction,” she said in an interview with CNN on July 21.
Pelosi added that if the President had appealed to people a few months ago to wear medical masks and keep a social distance, more people would have listened to him.
In her opinion, the wrong reaction of trump to the coronavirus led to the deaths of thousands of Americans.

“Let’s hope that the President will come closer to understanding the reality of this pandemic, this “trump virus”, the speaker stressed.
Earlier, trump said that the situation with the coronavirus pandemic in the country is likely to worsen. At the same time, he stressed that the death rate from complications of coronavirus in the country continues to decrease.
Today, the United States leads the world in statistics of deaths from Coronavirus. According to the Worldometer portal, almost 145 thousand patients with the diagnosis of COVID-19 and more than 4 million cases of THIS disease have died in the country.
