President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting behind closed doors with former President Goodluck Jonathan at the presidential Villa in Abuja.
Dr. Jonathan arrived at Aso rock around 11 a.m. and went directly to President Buhari’s office.
Recall that the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS recently appointed Dr. Jonathan to lead the political reconciliation process in Mali, where there is a struggle for leadership.
The Jonathan-led Committee recommended a national unity government in the country, but the opposition group rejected the recommendation.
Although the agenda of the meeting was not made public, it was decided that the former President should inform Buhari about the efforts of his Committee in connection with the crisis in Mali.
