Southeastern members of the National Assembly from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party met in Abuja on Tuesday evening, Globalgistng reports.
The meeting, which was held at the residence of the Senate Chief whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, was attended by all members of the South-Eastern APC in the Senate and House of Representatives.
The members in no order of hierarchy were: Former Governor of Imo state and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial zone, Owelle Rochas Okorocha; Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu; Deputy Majority Whip of the House of Representatives and member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon Nkeiruka Onyejiocha; Spokesman of the House of Representatives and member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Kalu.
Others were: Member representing Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency, Comrade Chinedu Ogah; Member representing Okigwe South, Hon.Chike John Okafor; Member representing Ohaji/Egbema,Oguta,Oru West Constituency, Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima; Member representing Ideato North/Ideato South, Hon. Paschal Obi and Member representing Nwangele/Njaba/Nkwere Constituency, Hon.Ozuruigbo Ugonna.

As Globalgistng has learned, the meeting was held in connection with the concerns of party members about the unity and progress of the party in the South-East of the country.
The meeting lasted two hours and was rescheduled for a new date, which will be communicated to interested members of the group at a later date.
