Magu detained for the night, as the questioning enters second day

Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, faces another day of questioning on Tuesday about the activities of the Agency under his supervision.
He was arrested on Monday evening at the Abuja police headquarters.
The presidential Commission of inquiry is headed by Ayo Salami, a former President of the court of Appeal.
Globalgistng understands that the panel installed till 10 PM on Monday, after which the done was delayed.
Abubakar Malami, the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), asked President Muhammadu Buhari to dismiss Magu over some “weighty” allegations.

Discrepancies in EFCC reconciliation records for returned funds
Leaked investigative reports to the media before going to court
Selling seized assets to cronies, associates, and friends
The shortfall of N35 billion in its Declaration of recovered funds
AGF insubordination
Did not provide sufficient evidence to extradite Diezani Alison-Madueke
Ignoring a court order to unfreeze a $ N7 billion judgment in favor of the suspect
