Victor Giadom, Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), handed over the leadership of the party to the Chairman of the Interim Committee, Mai Mala Buni.
The handover ceremony took place on Monday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
After assuring the Committee of his support, Giadom prayed to God that he would give Buni, who is the Governor of Yobe, the wisdom to manage the Affairs of the party.
“I am chief Hon. Victor Giadom, outgoing acting National Chairman, today, Monday, June 29, 2020, handing it over to the Chairman and members of the National Trustee Committee of the Congress of all progressives,” he said.
“I assure the Committee of my readiness to cooperate with them to achieve the goals and objectives of the party on the way to a successful national Congress.
“I pray that Almighty God will grant you the wisdom to manage the Affairs of the party.”
The party’s national working Committee (NWC) was dissolved on Thursday after a leadership crisis.

The court of appeal upheld the removal of Adams Oshiomhole from the position of National Party Chairman.
While the late Abiola Ajimobi, the former Governor of Oyo, was appointed acting Chairman, Giadom said he took his place.
The President Muhammadu Buhari, in the end, recognized Giadom the acting Chairman of the party.
