More than 10 days after the arrest of Dubai-based Nigerian Ray Hushpuppi, Dubai police have finally released a video clip capturing the operation that led to the arrest of the Internet fraudster.
Globalgistng recently saw a more than four-minute clip on the Twitter page of a Dubai media company identified as @DXBMediaOffice.

Footage from the scene of the arrest was included in a full-length film that gave a deeper insight into cybercrime in the country and the involvement of Hushpuppi and his gang.
Part of the clip captures the moment when several heavily armed police officers arrived at the Hushpuppi hotel.
According to the testimony, Hushpuppi and his team had no idea what was waiting for them when the police broke into their apartment without warning.
This was followed by officers shouting orders as soon as they entered and arrested everyone present.
He was seen dressed in a designer outfit with the two hands bound from behind with handcuffs.
Another person identified as Woodberry, along with some other unidentified crew members, were also seen in handcuffs.
Speaking about this operation, the commander-in-chief of the Dubai police, Abdullah Khalifa al Marri, said: “the arrest of Hushpuppi, Woodberry and 10 gang members involved in money laundering and cyber fraud is another achievement added to the proud record of the Dubai police in securing the Emirate.“

In a story related to the Hushpuppi, Earlier, it was reported that the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, issued a statement that the Hushpuppi should face the full wrath of the law.
According to the nidcom Chairman, scammers like him are responsible for ruining the image of honest Nigerians who work multiple jobs abroad.
