NSA reveals Buhari’s discussion with service chiefs

National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd) revealed key issues discussed between President muhammadu Buhari and security chiefs.

Speaking with State house correspondents in Abuja after the crucial meeting, Monguno said President Buhari praised the efforts of service leaders to combat violent crime in the country, but added that they should do much more, the Nation reported.

The NSA said the President expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of synergy between security forces.

He said that President Buhari had instructed him to meet with the governors of the Northwest and the government of Niger state to work out ways to combat the threat of banditry.
