The All progressives congress(APC) tragically went into mourning after the death of its Chairman in South Africa, Dr. taiye Olusola Abe.

However, President Muhammadu Buhari reacted to the death of the late APC Chairman. The Nigerian leader, while expressing sadness at the news, sympathized with the family, friends and colleagues of the deceased.

The disclosure was made in a statement on Wednesday, June 17, by the President’s special adviser on media and advertising, Femi Adesina.
In his message of condolence, the President called on Abe’s family and friends to gather their courage and prayed that God would comfort them at this sad time.
Describing the deceased as a man with an unmistakable love for Nigeria, President Buhari said the late APC Chairman was deeply committed to the party’s ideals.
President Buhari recalled the many meetings he had with Dr. Abe during his visits to South Africa. “Dr. Abe was looking forward to seeing Nigeria take its rightful place among the Commonwealth of Nations, and passionately believed in a resurgent country that we could all be proud of.
We will not weaken our efforts to achieve this goal, ” the statement said.
