All rapists will be exposed by God- Pastor Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, says he and his prayer warriors will not rest in prayer until the perpetrators of rape receive harsher punishment.

Adeboye said during a live broadcast on DOVE TV that aired in Ibadan on Sunday that the problem of rape has become rampant in society.

He described rape as bad and unbiblical, that it can leave a permanent fear on the victim for the rest of her life.

According to him, there is no pain that can be compared to the pain of parents whose daughter was raped.

“I and the prayer warriors will not rest in prayer until the perpetrators of this evil are brought to justice, not only in Nigeria, but throughout the world.

“Anyone who has ever committed rape, especially in Nigeria and around the world, will be caught by the Omniscient God.

“As much as I hate the death sentence, I think that any form of punishment that will be given to a rapist cannot be considered too severe.

“Anyone who thinks of raping someone again, Almighty God will stop them before they do, and if they insist, God will take them away.

“I call on all Christians around the world to join me in this prayer,” he said.

Adeboye also encouraged the faithful never to take the spirit of “good enough”, because it can be the enemy of greatness.

“Your journey to the top begins when you begin to feel that what you call ‘good’ is not enough; the greatest enemy is when you think that you are already great, while you are still incomplete.

“Your journey to the top begins when you realize that God saves the best until the last; the journey to the top begins with your knees and the recognition of Christ as your Lord and Savior,” he said.

Therefore, he called on those who did not give their lives to Jesus Christ to do so, so that everyone would receive the desired destination that God intended for them. NAN
