The Russian Premier League (RPL) on Tuesday, June 2, published on its official website the schedule of the remaining rounds of the 2019/20 season.
«(Season. — Ed.) The 2019/20 Russian Premier League will resume on June 19 with the Krylia Sovetov-Akhmat match. The last round will be held on July 22, ” the press service notes.
There will also be a match between Sochi and Rostov on June 19, and a match between CSKA and Spartak on June 20.
The Russian championship was suspended on March 17 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Of the 30 planned tours, 22 were held.
On May 15, the Executive Committee of the Russian football Union decided to resume RPL games from June 21. However, the matches of the resumed championship will be held without spectators until the end of the season.
The RPL season is due to end on July 22. In the remaining games, teams are allowed to make up to five substitutions. The final of the 2019/20 Russian football Cup is scheduled for July 25.
