College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti commences online lectures for students

Authorities of the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti have announced the commencement of online lectures for the NCE and Degree students of the institution.

This was disclosed by the Provost of the College, Prof. Olufemi Adeoluwa. Prof. Adeoluwa stated that the institution had to leverage on the opportunities of the virtual classroom technology to continue the teaching and learning process which had earlier been disrupted by the corona virus pandemic.

He said that education of students was a routine procedure comprising teaching/coaching, assignments, research and assessment, hence, the adoption of online platforms and digital devices to keep the process going despite the lockdown.

Students of the institution have therefore been advised to download *Google classroom and Google Meets apps from the play store and use the pass codes given by their lecturers and circulated via departmental/class whatsapp groups to log in accordingly.
