Russia withdrew from Serbia all military personnel who helped in the fight against COVID-19

Russia has withdrawn from Serbia all military specialists who were sent there to help fight the spread of the coronavirus. This was reported on Monday, May 18, in the press service of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation.

“An Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian air force delivered the last group of military personnel and special military equipment of the Russian defense Ministry’s composite detachment to the Chkalovsky airfield (Moscow region), which was performing tasks to help combat coronavirus infection in the territory of the Republic of Serbia. This flight completed the delivery of Russian specialists and military equipment to the territory of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Serbia.”
