Theater and film actress Alla Meshcheryakova has died

Soviet and Russian theater and film actress Alla Meshcheryakova has died. She was 77 years old. This was announced on Thursday, May 14, by the Union of cinematographers of the Russian Federation.
“On May 11, 2020, at the age of 78, a talented theater and film actress, actress of the theater “Kinoakter”, honored artist of Russia Alla Meshcheryakova passed away,” the message reads.
The artist began her career in cinema in 1964, making her debut in the film “Pages of first love” directed by Mark Orlov as Lena. Meshcheryakova’s first major role was in the course work of Director Dinara Asanova “At the half-stop” based on the story of the same name by Yuri Kazakov.
Throughout her career, the actress has performed 80 roles in such films as “and the dawns are quiet here”, “Ksenia, Fyodor’s beloved wife” and “The heart of a friend”.
