Biden beat Donald trump in the election race by 5%

Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden beat incumbent US leader Donald trump in the election race by 5%. This was reported on Wednesday, May 13, by CNN with reference to the rating of national voter support (SSRS).
According to the survey, 51% of respondents support Biden, while 46% of voters prefer Trump. However, in the most contested and key States, the advantage remains with the current President: he is supported by 52%, and the leader of the Democrats-45%.
It is noted that the former Vice President is more popular with women, black people and residents older than 45 years.
At the same time, trump is supported mainly by men, he is more popular among the white population and young people.
The most important advantage of the American leader over the democratic candidate, the surveyed voters called economic competence (54% — trump; 42% – Biden). While on the issue of fighting the coronavirus pandemic, respondents preferred the President’s opponent (51% — Biden; 45% – trump), as well as in the field of health (54% — for Biden against 42% — for trump).
The total number of respondents who have a negative attitude to Donald Trump — 55%, to Joe Biden — 46%.
