Media finds out the dates of the resumed games of the Champions League and the Europa League

The football Champions League and Europa League of the 2019/20 season, interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be completed in the period from August 2 to August 29.


The remaining matches of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League and Europa League can be played on August 2-7, the quarterfinals on August 13-16, the semifinals on August 20-23, the Europa League final on August 27, and the Champions League final on August 29.


It is noted that UEFA has already discussed the possibility of holding the last stages of the Champions League and the Europa League in the format of a mini-tournament in Istanbul and Gdansk, respectively.

Earlier in the day, the German football League (DFL) announced the resumption of the German football championship from may 15. Due to the epidemiological situation, the matches will be held without spectators. Previously, the season was scheduled to resume on may 22.


In mid-June, the football championship will be resumed in Turkey.
