The price of Brent crude oil futures for July delivery rose by 6.8% to reach $29.04 per barrel. This is evidenced by trading data on the LONDON ice exchange at 9: 46 Moscow time on Tuesday, May 5.
As of 10: 05 Moscow time, a barrel of this brand of oil rose to $29.13, but at 10: 17 Moscow time, its price fell to $28.99.
WTI crude rose 8.3% to $24.67 per barrel.
The last time Brent crude oil was above $29 per barrel on April 14.
Oil prices on world markets moved to growth on the morning of Friday, may 1, amid the entry into force of a new OPEC+ agreement to reduce the level of production of raw materials. Production is reduced by almost 10 million barrels per day.
At the end of April, OPEC predicted an increase in prices to $40. This level of cost in the organization is expected by the middle of 2020.
