From May 1 to May 12, residents who do not wear a medical masks or respirator will not be fined, but “politely asked to follow the recommended measures.” Since May 12, the measure is not a recommendation, but a mandatory one for violating the rule, residents of the region can be fined 4 thousand rubles in accordance with the Moscow administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
On the eve of the Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov signed a decree on the introduction of a mask regime in the region to reduce the risks of spreading coronavirus infection.
From the evening of March 29 to April 12, the region has a mandatory regime of home self-isolation. In public places, citizens are required to observe a social distance of 1.5 m.
As of may 2, Russia has registered 124,054 cases of coronavirus in 85 regions since the beginning of the epidemic. 1222 patients died and 15,013 recovered.
Earlier on Saturday, the Ministry of health said that there is no reason to believe that the situation with the coronavirus in Russia has stabilized. The head of the Department Mikhail Murashko noted that the restrictions imposed in the country due to this infection cannot be canceled immediately after reaching the peak of the disease.
