Seven Russian laboratories can diagnose a patient’s coronavirus using a test without confirmation from Rospotrebnadzor. This was told on May 2 on the air of “Russia 24” by the head of the Department Anna Popova.

According to her, confirmation of the diagnosis is not required, since these laboratories have a high percentage of accurate results. “From 92 to 98 [%], this is quite a lot,” Popova explained.

Earlier on Saturday, the head of Rospotrebnadzor clarified that currently there are no cases of repeated infection with coronavirus in Russia.

On the eve of Popova said that the refusal of restrictive measures imposed due to infection will be gradual and depend on the epidemiological situation in the regions.

Also in Moscow, we managed to almost double the detection rate of coronavirus infection. According to this indicator, the capital has become a world leader, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on May 2.

As he wrote in his personal blog, in recent weeks, the Moscow polyclinic network has significantly increased the diagnosis of coronavirus using computed tomography. For this purpose, 45 outpatient centers operating 24/7, a reference center for radiation diagnostics and a system for computer recognition of coronavirus using artificial intelligence technologies were created

According to him, over the past week, the volume of rapid tests for antibodies has increased by 10 times. Thus, Moscow managed to almost double the detection rate of infection. This allows us to stop its spread at an early stage and provide timely assistance to affected Muscovites, Sobyanin stressed.

Earlier on Saturday, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said that seven Russian laboratories can diagnose a patient’s coronavirus using a test without confirmation from Rospotrebnadzor, as the percentage of accurate results is very high.
