Russian test systems that detect the presence of coronavirus infection are better than many foreign analogues. This was announced on April 30 by the press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
“There are Chinese tests that are much worse than our analysis system. There are European tests that are better than our (analysis system. – Ed.), and so on. There are our tests that are much better than most of the world’s analogues.
The Kremlin spokesman added that all tests have a certain margin of error. However, according to him, officials from the administration of the head of state are regularly checked for infection.
On April 28, Rospotrebnadzor reported that more than 3.1 million tests were conducted in Russia to diagnose coronavirus. At the same time, Moscow is the leader among the world’s megacities in terms of the number of tests per 100 thousand people.
According to official data, 99 thousand people are infected with coronavirus infection in Russia today.
