Seven thousand people in Moscow undergoing treatment for coronavirus at home

In Moscow, about 7 thousand people are treated for COVID-19 coronavirus infection at home. This was announced on Tuesday, April 14, by the Deputy mayor of the capital for social development Anastasia Rakova.

According to her, in the capital for three weeks, there is a regulation under which patients with a mild form of the disease can be treated at home.


“Now 7 thousand of these patients are under medical supervision. About 500 people have already fully recovered during the treatment at home, ” Moscow city news Agency quoted Rakov as saying. She noted that the number of cases of deterioration in the condition of patients who are treated at home is minimal.

The Deputy mayor added that telemedicine consultations are available to those who receive treatment outside of hospitals. The capital’s telemedicine center employs 200 qualified doctors. Doctors use audio or video communication to analyze the condition of patients, identify symptoms of deterioration of health and give recommendations, reports TV channel “360”. All information from the Unified medical information and analytical system (EMIAS) is available to doctors during a telemedicine consultation. This allows you to enter data about the course of the disease and see all medical information about the patient.
