Moscow police officers will be tested for coronavirus starting next week. This was announced on Saturday, April 11, by the Deputy mayor of the capital for social development Anastasia Rakova.
“From next week, screening tests will also be conducted for those police officers who are directly engaged in ensuring public order,” TASS quoted her as saying. According to Rakova, about nine thousand patients with coronavirus have been registered in Moscow.
As the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus reported on Saturday, new 1030 cases of infection were recorded in Moscow during the day.
Thus, in Russia since the beginning of the epidemic, 13,584 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in 82 regions. At the same time, 106 people died from the infection, and 1045 were cured.
