The Russian Ministry of health has expanded the list of possible medications for treating coronavirus infection in adults from six to nine. This is stated in the updated recommendations of the Department, released on Thursday, April 9.
The list includes Hydroxychloroquine, Chloroquine, Mefloquine, Azithromycin, Tocilizumab, calcium Nadroparin, the combination of Lopinavir+ Ritonavir, Recombinant interferon beta-1b and Recombinant interferon alpha. The use of a specific medication is determined by the severity of the case, as well as the presence of concomitant infections and contraindications.
According to the latest data, as of April 9, 10,131 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Russia, including 1,459 cases in the last 24 hours. Over the entire period, 76 deaths were registered, and 698 people recovered.
