The Cabinet of Ministers allocates 1.1 billion for the fight against coronavirus

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order that allocates more than 1.1 billion rubles to the presidential administration to fight the coronavirus. The corresponding document was published on Tuesday, April 7, on the official Internet portal of legal information.

“Allocate in 2020 to the office of the President of the Russian Federation from the reserve Fund of the government of the Russian Federation budget allocations in the amount of 1,117,848 thousand rubles for measures to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection, including the organization of medical care for the attached contingent,” the order says.


Earlier on April 7, Mishustin spoke about the preparation of a new package of measures to support the population and business. According to him, the work is being carried out in contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Prime Minister did not specify what steps are planned, but said that they “cover a wide range of solutions, including issues of support for the population and entrepreneurs.”
