Chief doctor of the Moscow infectious diseases hospital in Kommunarka (GKB # 40) Denis Protsenko told about his surprise at the age of patients who have severe COVID-19 disease. On Saturday, April 4, he told about it in the program “Epidemic with Anton Krasovsky” on RT TV channel.
“When we recruited the first pool of patients and started analyzing them, our jaw dropped,” Protsenko said, referring to the young age of Russians with coronavirus. He also stressed that those who have various chronic diseases suffer the most.

Out of 443 cases, 210 people aged 18 to 45 years old were infected. At the same time, 143 patients from 46 to 65 years of age and another 67 infected over 65 years of age, 15 of them over 80 years of age. The coronavirus was also confirmed in 14 children.
