Government declares its readiness to launch a system for monitoring compliance with self-isolation

Moscow is ready to launch a smart system for monitoring citizens ‘ compliance with the rules of self-isolation, but at the moment its implementation is not required. This was reported in the Department of information technology of the capital on April 4.
The system will be activated if the epidemiological situation in the city worsens or the number of violations of the self-isolation regime by residents of the capital increases. As noted by Moscow government Minister and head of the Department Eduard Lysenko, the system will help to maintain the possibility of targeted movements around the city.
“Control is necessary in order to identify cases of gross violation of the self-isolation regime, when a person unnecessarily leaves the house and exposes not only himself and his relatives, but also other citizens to the risk of infection with the coronavirus,” he explained.
The system will be launched after the relevant order of the Moscow government. After that, residents will have to confirm their movement around the city using a special code. You will be able to move in any way by car, public transport or on foot, the main thing is to notify about your intention to leave the house and have a code with you. At the same time, you do not need a code to walk a pet or take out garbage.
The code is a combination of letters and numbers. You can get it through your personal account on the portal mos.ru, then save to your phone, receive by e-mail or print. The Department stressed that the portal infrastructure is ready for peak loads, so there will be no interruptions in receiving code.
You can also get the code by phone. the procedure for issuing it will be fixed at the disposal of the Moscow Cabinet of Ministers. If you move around the city without a code, you are responsible.
Similar systems are already working in many countries, in particular, in India and China, and such programs are still being tested in the UK. In addition, the system was launched in a number of Russian regions. For example, in Tatarstan, you need to get an SMS pass before leaving the house.you can use this opportunity twice a day. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the movement of residents is monitored using QR codes.
On April 2, Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the extension of measures to combat coronavirus in the city until may 1. At the same time, he noted that there is no need to introduce a passable mode of movement yet, since the majority of citizens conscientiously observe the regime of self-isolation.
Since April 3, the “Social monitoring” system has been operating in the capital» to control those infected with coronavirus who are treated at home. If you refuse to use the app, you will face a fine and hospitalization.
As of April 4, 4731 cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in Russia, 582 of them in the last 24 hours. 333 people were cured. 43 patients died.
