Spartak players took a pay cut during the quarantine

The players of Spartak Moscow have agreed to cut their salaries by 40 percent during the quarantine period due to a coronavirus infection. This is reported by the press service of the club on the official website.
Recall that the draw for the Russian championship is suspended until April 10 due to the pandemic. All players are sent to home quarantine.

“During the self-isolation associated with the spread of the coronavirus, and before the resumption of the training process, players will receive 40 percent less. Thus, our first team decided to support the rest of the club in a difficult situation, ” Spartak said in a statement.

On Tuesday, it became known that the preliminary training of the players of the “red-white” will resume on may 4. At the moment, the players continue to maintain their form at home according to individual programs.
